Hardbound thesis: 2x (£17.50 for printing + approx. £20.95 for binding) = £76.90
Graduation fee: £45
Gown hire (like hell I'm buying them): around £40
Approximate cost of graduation: £161.90

Anybody want to buy a kidney?

    (That binding cost didn't look too bad to me - I was expecting much worse)

  4. Why must you have two bound copies? And have you considered asking a printing company to do it externally? I know someone who had a book printed and bound, with cover, for £20. Admittedly softback, but still...

    I'll get back to you on the kidney.
